My approach rests on four pillars:

1. Evidence

I follow an evidence-based approach. While there is a spiritual aspect linked to yoga and meditation, they are secular disciplines. Many years of research and study give us scientific proof that yoga and meditation work. In my classes and workshops, I focus on the aspects of yoga and meditation that have proven positive effects on physical and mental health. These aspects are yoga postures, breathing exercises, introspection, concentration and meditation.

Evidence shows that even after just two weeks of practicing meditation, the brain starts to change. Do you want to know more about the hard facts? There is plenty of scientific evidence about the positive effects of yoga and meditation on physical and mental health.

2. Accessibility

You don’t need to be flexible to do yoga, as it is not mandatory to sit cross-legged on the floor in order to meditate. Whether you have some experience or are a beginner, making my classes accessible to all levels and abilities is one of my core values. For this reason, I teach in small groups to make sure that everyone receives the attention they need to feel comfortable and make the most out of the sessions.

3. Experience

I started working at an international sales organization in 2008. A few years later I started working as a yoga teacher, combining both professions for many years. I had one foot in each world, which has given me invaluable insights and a unique perspective. I am a qualified yoga and meditation instructor with more than 10 years of experience and an understanding of what is needed in a stressful business setting. I have absorbed many different trainings and teach several yoga styles as well as Vipassana meditation.

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa Yoga is a style characterized by connecting postures with the breath and moving seamlessly from one posture to the next.

Fascia Yoga

Fascia Yoga targets connective tissue using special techniques that range from active stretches to more passive ones.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style where we held postures for longer periods of time to promote relaxation.

Vipassana Meditation

Vipassana Meditation is an ancient mediation technique that consists of observing thoughts and emotions without judging.

4. Results

Practicing yoga and mindfulness will make an impact in your employees’ lives and how they work with each other. They will become more balanced, focused, healthier, and happier. Moreover, they will be more aware of their thoughts and feelings and this will help them to improve their communication with their colleagues, family and friends. This translates into enhanced productivity, lower employee turnover, lower healthcare costs, and better collaboration. Some say the ROI of mindfulness at the workplace can be as high as 200%. None of us exist in a vacuum. When your employees thrive, your company thrives. And your success is also my success. It’s a win-win-win. That is why I am 100% focused on delivering these results.

The Bigger Picture

But that’s not all. Yoga and mindfulness are not simple self-optimization tools. They won’t only make your employees more productive. They will make them more aware. And awareness is like wildfire. It will extend through their private lives, making them better parents, spouses, and friends. It will extend through your whole organization, helping leaders make better decisions. It will eventually be distributed all over and help us create a better world. Sounds like a huge task, I know. I can only contribute from where I am, with what I have, even if it is just one drop in the ocean. And what’s an ocean but a multitude of drops.
